"טָבָא לָא הָוֵי בִּישָׁא"
"A good person does not become wicked."The gemara discusses whether a good person can "become wicked". To believe that they can't would surely mean that we believe people can be wicked from birth. I don't know whether the righteous can become wicked or not - I only know that fundamental to any spiritual practice must be that the individual has the ability to change. Obviously we would like that change to be positive - the wicked to become good. But even so - we must always believe in the possibility of change - the alternative is not worth thinking about.
May each new day be an opportunity to embrace transformation and may we all aim to be the best version of ourselves.
